Lada Kalina Sport
AvtoVAZ launched the Lada Kalina Sport hatchback production, cars will be painted in the premiere style, that is, in bright yellow. By the end of this year, the Volzhsky Automobile Plant intends to collect at least 500 models, Interfax reports.
Back in September, it became known about the plans for the factory for the production of the yellow Lada Kalina Sport, because the demand for these vehicles has risen significantly after the participation of a similar model in the many hours of Khabarovsk-Chita race, and then the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was the pilot. By 2010, AvtoVAZ intends to produce a total of 2 thousand kalin in sports modification.
Lada Kalina Sport 1.4 is sold with two motors equipment, 1 – 1.4 liter, develops 88 horsepower, 2 – 1.6 liter with 97 horses. The price of the basic sports version of the model having an enhanced suspension, another body and the interior are 350 thousand rubles from 1.4 liter engine and 380 from 1.6 liter engine.
The production of the Lada Kalina Sport car will not stop even in 2011, but it will be fixed, representatives of the automobile plant say. But analytical information on the production of this model next year is not yet provided.
