This model is still known under the name Forte in the South Korean market and Spectra5 in the States. According to unverified information, the sedan will be based on the current Hyundai Elantra.
If the company plans to embody sketches in metal, then the sedan will inherit some features of the aggressive modernity from Sonata and Solaris, as well as the radiator grille from Optima. The Elantra platform taken as a basis will allow Cerato to add in overall characteristics.
If we take into account the cooperation between Kia Motors and Hyundai Motor in the field of technology exchange, we can expect that the engine spectrum available for the sedan will be expanded, and a six -speed transmission with two clutches will also appear at the disposal of the car.
The current generation of Kia Cerato is presented on the Russian automobile market for two modifications with power units of one and six and two liters. The capacity of the first is 126, and the second – 150 horsepower. The cost of the car starts from almost 640 thousand rubles.
